About Us

Granocean started in 1998 when our founder Vincent Mausset, a well respected yacht designer, realised the need to deliver custom, well-built, efficient vessel to withstand all weather conditions and importantly pleasing to the eye.

In a successful cooperation with Sparkman & Stephens and Halvorsen, Granocean first introduced the stunning monohull Atlantique 50, which evolved into the critically acclaimed Passage-Maker Series, ranging from 50 to 88 feet, with their 1970s classic feadship design, signature funnel and canoe stern.

Evolving from its specialised long-range mono hulls the Granocean design team developed a new range of large Power Catamarans, including Commercial, Supply Vessels and Pleasure vessels, always focusing on lines that were pleasing to the eye.

The new W and X series feature naval architecture by Howard Apollonio, construction and technology / materials (composite) from Gurit, and custom interiors by Vripack. The magnificent new series ranging from 54 to 95 feet, delivering a product unique on the world market for style and technical solutions that result in comfortable and efficient cruising

Today Granocean is a unique custom builder, leading the industry in the develop and manufacture of full custom Power Catamarans in both Composite and Carbon Fibre.
